The Problem

What We Built
SheetMind is a conversational AI sidebar that lives inside Google Sheets. Instead of typing prompts in cells, you have a natural conversation with your data — just like talking to a colleague who happens to know every row in your sheet.
Confidence Scores
Every SheetMind response comes with a confidence score: green (90-100%), yellow (70-89%), or red (below 70%). This isn't a gimmick — it's a weighted calculation based on data completeness, query complexity, and response quality. You know instantly when to trust the output and when to verify.
Click-to-Verify Source Links
When SheetMind says "Revenue in rows 45-67 increased by 23%", those row references are clickable. Click them, and your sheet jumps to exactly those cells. They highlight for 3 seconds so you can verify without losing your place.
Step-by-Step Undo
This is the feature no other AI tool offers. SheetMind tracks every change the AI makes — cell edits, formula insertions, formatting changes — and gives you a step-by-step undo button. Made a mistake? Roll back one step, or all steps. You're always in control.
PII Detection
Before processing any request, SheetMind scans your sheet for personally identifiable information — emails, phone numbers, SSNs. If PII is detected, you see a clear warning banner. You decide whether to proceed.
How It's Different
Most AI tools for Sheets are cell-function tools — you type =GPT("prompt") and get text back. SheetMind is a conversational sidebar that:
